I am researching how Andean folkloric dance has been organized, narrated, performed, and remembered in diaspora. I am especially interested in program books and other materials created before cultural documentation moved primarily online, and in what these records reveal about community memory, public education, diaspora, and cultural transmission.

I am developing Spanish-language creative writing shaped by memory, childhood, place, language, family, and cultural experience. Writing gives me another way to approach questions that also appear in my research: what we remember, what changes in recollection, how place stays with us, and how cultural experience becomes narrative.

I am continuing to learn Quechua while exploring connections among language, memory, place, and cultural knowledge. This includes creating small learning resources and considering how Indigenous languages carry embodied ways of knowing.

Developing cultural education programs, tools, and resources that bring research, memory, language, and creative practice into meaningful learning experiences. This work seeks to make cultural knowledge engaging, accessible, and relevant across generations and communities.
